Polyvagal-informed EMDR

Your nervous system can find stability.

Polyvagal Theory explains how different states of the autonomic nervous system—such as safety, fight-or-flight, and shutdown—impact our emotional and physical responses. This framework helps us understand why we may feel stuck, disconnected, or reactive after a trauma or trigger. In my practice, I incorporate this theory to help you regulate your nervous systems, creating a sense of safety and stability before and during trauma processing. You will recognize and learn when your body shifts between states of fight, flight, freeze, and connection.
