Attachment-Focused EMDR

You deserve connection with others.

Healing from relational trauma is often about learning new ways to feel safe with yourself and with others. In our work together, I integrate an understanding of attachment—how our early relationships shape the way we relate now—into EMDR therapy. We’ll gently explore the beliefs and emotional patterns that may have started in past relationships but still affect you today. I bring in tools that support a sense of safety, trust, and connection, so you can start to build healthier relationships and feel more grounded in who you are.

What is relational trauma?

Relational trauma happens when we’re hurt in relationships that were supposed to feel safe—like with a caregiver, partner, or close friend.

It can leave lasting impacts on how we see ourselves, trust others, or feel in connection with people. You might notice it showing up in things like difficulty setting boundaries, people-pleasing, or feeling anxious or shut down in relationships. EMDR can help by processing the painful memories and emotions tied to those experiences, allowing you to heal and create healthier connections moving forward.
